Walt Sasser, the founder of The Sasser Group (TSG), registered to do Federal Services work in 2014. Walt provides over forty years of progressive leadership, program management, business development and capture management experience. Following a successful career in the US Air Force, he held several executive positions with Camber Corporation, culminating as the Vice President for Strategic Communications and External Affairs. In this position he oversaw the IRAD program. Walt served two years as a trustee on a nonprofit swim club. He also was the president of the Westridge Home Owners Association Board of Trustees eight of the 10 years served.
Tom Wilson joined The Sasser Group (TSG), in 2015. Tom brought thirty-eight years of defense-related experience to his role as president. As a senior executive, he successfully led winning organizations at seven major defense contractors, in executive level positions. Tom has recorded over $2 billion in contract wins for the federal government. Tom Wilson led corporate growth patterns from $180 million to $435 million in less than five years while maintaining double-digit margins. He is an expert in strategy.
Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer Jeff is a seasoned system administrator with experience in VMWare and Citrix virtualization (servers and VDI), network administration, information security, and quality assurance. He has a senior level expertise in analysis, diagnoses, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to maintain the integrity and security of servers and desktop systems.
Chief Financial Officer
Laura founded Strategic Consulting Solutions in 2004 after consulting with government contractors for several years. Her career has been focused on the Deltek products such as First Essentials (GCS Premier), Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Impromptu. She worked with Costpoint as a beta product in the mid-1990’s. Since that time, she has implemented numerous Costpoint and First Essentials (GCS Premier) systems.
Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lincoln Memorial University and a Master of Accountancy Degree from the University of Tennessee. In August 2008, Laura completed her Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University. She is the Treasurer for the local chapter of NCMA and is a member of several accounting organizations. Laura is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
