We are excited to become a part of the HUBZone family here in Birmingham as of March 2019. Here at TSG, our primary goal is promoting growth and providing economic stability by providing federal contracting assistance for qualified residents located in historically inner-city and rural areas. We take pride in taking care of people who are in need and providing them a sense of peace of mind in taking care of themselves and their loved ones.
As of December 2019 — The Sasser Group, or TSG, a Federal Services provider, has been certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to participate in the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) program. It is a goal of Federal agencies to maintain 3% of all annual contracts as set-aside for certified HUBZone businesses, which provides TSG with increased opportunities when pursuing specified Federal contracts.
TSG’s HUBZone certification will provide another avenue for federal procurement to achieve their set-aside targets, while also creating jobs and economic development in historical underutilized business zones. We pride ourselves of the long-term partnerships with our clients and look forward to forming new relationships in pursuit of HUBZone set-aside contracts.
TSG relocates its headquarters from Woodbridge, Virginia to Hoover, Alabama in May 2015. We are excited to be a part of the community and eager to grow the business. We are looking forward to serving the people of Alabama.
Tom Wilson joins The Sasser Group in January 2015. He brings thirty-eight years of executive experience to the team. Tom has held executive positions, most recently the Chief Operating Officer at US Falcon. Tom was the senior vice president for business development at Camber where he met Walt Sasser in 2005. Tom has recorded over $2B in contract wins for the federal government.
